At Searchmont Resort

On December 4 & 5, hundreds of the worlds best snowmobile racing teams descended upon Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario for the annual "Stud Boy World Cup Snowcross" races at Searchmont Ski Resort.   The photos below were taken on Saturday.

The Searchmont Snowcross event served as Round #2 of the Canadian National Snowcross Championships. There were estimated to be 800 racer entries from across Canada and the USA.

Searchmont is well known to racers as one of the best Snowcross race courses in the world with its 100' foot wide, 1/4 mile vertical starting line and its challenging jumps, and downhill drop offs, twists and turns.  The course was made with both natural and man-made snow.
